As a mother myself I think lower speed limits in residential areas should be done everywhere in st.johns people are driving to fast these days to get no where

I agree that our residential streets have speeds over the posted limits on a regular basis. The dangerous driving habits and total disregard for human life are quite evident in and around our neighborhoods.

There should never have to be a petition, it's common sense when in a residential area. Slow Down and keep the children safe!

Get better little one.
WHY WHY must this happen for you to see the need. a child must be hurt to see the need? But then again someone is getting paid to look at this and poke at it and fill there calendar for a litter while so take time right? Town should have to pay for loss of work for parents that was pointing this out. And cost of all other things while child is in hospital. Just my thoughts

Our province are indeed responsible for the safety of our children when it comes to road safety. This is a must for all children. God bless this little child and blessings for a speedy recovery. As a grandmother I urge you to consider sooner rather than later a speed sign for the safety of the children,

There shouldn't even have to be a petition, especially when something horrible like this happens.

I support this and I also want to say that the child's picture should not be on social media and news. The ambulance personel's picture is blotted out but not the childs!

Wo would all like to see this speeding in residential areas reduced .. its sad that we have so many drivers behind the wheel that don't have common sence to realize that in said areas there are always children !! Please take a look at this baby and think of your own children and slow down !!! Make the speed limit 30 like it is in school zones !!!

I should not have to add any reasons to advise drivers to slow down a sweet innocent child was struck by a car...
