I live on Cypress street and we feel the exact same on how fast traffic is. There is no reason why traffic speed limits in residential areas has to be 50km/h it should be 30 at most in all residential areas. Speed bumps will work as well but only for that split second then people will be racing to make up for lost time.

I think there are a lot of places that need this in residential areas Tree top Dr for sure! Also Burnaby Street in paradise as well which is why I'm signing this petition to get streets that need this recognized.

I hope the town gets something done before some life gets lost by idiots driving made, it's the same problem where I live and we finally got a speed bump but that don't slow them down either it's crazy the way people drives

Shameful speeds in residential areas. We have 4 children at play sighs across our driveway (it's rather wide) to deter people from driving over and turning in our driveway because the kids are in the area. It still does not stop them.

All Residential areas should be a maximum speed of 30. It will give the driver a safe stopping time if a child did happen to come out into the street.

Absolutely ridiculous that our children and pedestrians are not a concern on our busy streets..... The NL government is a pissing match on who can take the most holidays on tax payers money. Disgraceful
