Residential streets should be 30 km. People drive them like they are at a race track!

A child's life is worth more than a driver in a hurry

This is defintely an issue. Why would you have 50km in a residential area. Hope this gets change, so this doesn't happened to another child again.

I do not agree with 50km being the limit in a residential area. Too many children, adults, dogs, other animals just wandering their lovely community. Please be careful eyes need to be peeled everywhere!

Something needs to be done, don't wait until some innocent child is killed.

Cypress Street needs this as well. The speeds are ridiculous.

I live in mount pearl, and where I am there are a number of schools around. I fear for the day I have to let my children leave the doorstep with me. The drivers in this city are careless, and it's beyond scary: People are ALWAYS speeding. I even avoid the highway at all costs, because it is a compete danger zone on the highways here. 140 is not a safe speed to be travelling at, for you or the other people travelling around you.

Speed bumps, please. This area around the corner by Peppertree Place is a hot spot for speeders.

As a parent of small children, distracted and reckless driving is my #1 fear. I hope this petition leads to improved control measures.
