We just moved to the area, had we known, we would have reconsidered. Something like this should not be anywhere close to homes. If the people approving this re-zoning lived up here, no way it would happen.

It would make more sense to build a transfer station that is further away from residential and commercial businesses. There is plenty of land in Maricopa County that is sufficiently far from population so that the noise, odor and environmental distress will not be an issue.
