We do not need to add more traffic and congestion to the area. This is a residential area not a commercial area and we DO NOT want a landfill in our neighborhood!

I strongly oppose this landfill. This area is a highly desirable place to live. This will not only bring the house values down but this is also a health hazard. Landfills are hazardous to kids, especially. Landfills can cause lung cancer. It impacts respiratory organs and weakens the immune system. There are elementary schools located within a 5 mile radius. This is a growing community with many families and children playing outside. The community of Vistancia is also close by, where mainly elderly people live. This can take a huge toll on their health as well. I ask that you please reconsider and find a new location that is not heavily populated.

I strongly oppose the Transfer station. I fear for my families safety. My husband and daughter were almost killed at the intersection of 115th and happy valley and this would mean even more traffic.

As a member of the community where they intend to place this waste station, I am appalled and mortified by the idea of the city allowing such a facility to be placed here. Our community is filled with families with young children. This would not only be damaging to the serenity of the community but also the value of the homes within the neighboring communities.
