Waste Transfer Station Project #Z2020017

Please do not approve this rezoning request! Please do not allow a waste transfer station to be located in this area! There are many other options available for locating a waste transfer station that are not adjacent to existing residential neighborhoods. The negative impact to existing residential communities far outweighs the selfish convenience of this location!

This is land use that is incompatible with residences nearby.

Not in our neighborhood!

As a nearby resident, I am opposed to the rezoning of this area to Heavy Industrial Zoning which allows for the Republic Waste facility to be built. Traffic is already very busy there and the constant flow of garbage trucks would be hazardous; the facility would emanate odors and is totally inappropriate for the density of housing planned for the area.

Re-zoning residential into heavy industrial 3 is not desired. We don’t want a waste transfer station built here.

The stench and the increase in the rodent population will do serious damage to value of our community and possibly our health.

Having lived in other parts of the country we have seen similar issues negatively effect property values.

I STRONGLY PROTEST the Waste Transfer Station Project #Z2020017 that is planned to be located at Happy Valley & 117th. This will negatively impact the community in more ways than just increased traffic, decline in property values and smell/rodent problems. I DO NOT WANT THIS IN OUR COMMUNITY.

I strongly protest against putting a trash transfer station that close to our community. Not only is increased traffic and odor a concern but, most of all, OUR PROPERTY VALUES WILL DECREASE DRASTICALLY. That is of great concern to us, the senior citizens, that have invested a great deal of our retirement funds into a community that prides itself as "one of a kind."

I am not at all in favor of this waste transfer station being near my neighborhood! I moved to a quiet retirement community on purpose for peace and quiet and clean atmosphere. This violates all of those.
