I oppose the proposed location of a transfer station at 115th Ave. and Happy Valley Rd. It is too close to housing and should be built in a location that wouldn’t impact hundreds of families. There is certainly enough room where this could be done and not impact so many neighborhoods. Thank you.

This is not the place for a transfer station. This will decrease property values, create horrible smells, flies, traffic. An eyesore in a new and upcoming part of the valley. WE CANNOT LET THIS HAPPEN!!!!

I am very much against the proposal for the Waste Transfer Site at 115th Ave and Happy Valley. This is much too close to our residential areas..

I do not want this transfer station built in this location. I live nearby, and we have waited years for Happy Valley to finally be widened. Rezoning and allowing this transfer station in this location will undo all of the work of widening Happy Valley. It will make traffic terrible again.

Build it out where there are no housing units built. In the future, people can then choose to build or not, based on the transfer station.

I do not want this. This will drop housing prices and it is a terrible smell. It will cause traffic and it is not something that should be in a neighborhood.

NO!! This will ruin our community! Put it elsewhere! This is our home! And our children’s home! Dos Rios and Crossriver may be smaller and it’s own area but it’s ours and we are proud of it and a tight knit community with most of us being parents. We don’t want our children living near a trash plant and seeing trash trucks all day long. We have beautiful sights and cleanliness in our cross river neighborhood we don’t want to see trash trucks all day long as a part of it. Plus the proposed location is our only way out of the neighborhood which is already a two way road only. We don’t want this unnecessary traffic and noise from those trucks all day long. Plus the smells and bringing our home values down when cross river has become so desirable it’s hard to even find a house because they sell so quick. It’s because of our tight knit community that we built and our beautiful homes and architecture that people want to live here . We say NO. Please we beg for this not to happen!!

We adamantly oppose the rezone from RU-43 rural/residential to Heavy Industrial. This rezoning is unacceptable. This is a residential area, and this is not the appropriate location for a rezone to Heavy Industrial. We are completely opposed to this. This transfer station needs to be located somewhere else and not in a residential area.
