Why would the county pick a residential site like this for this facility. Right in the middle of a growing residential and business community. We are against this development as a Peoria and Vistancia resident

We do not want this station up here! Why don’t they put it in north Scottsdale! God forbid it goes in Scottsdale. This is not the place for a garbage transfer station anyway you spin it!

Plenty of vacant land off of the 303 from Happy Valley to I-17. Why put this within a suburban area that needs this kind for services related growth?

A waste transfer station should be placed further away from the residence-dense growth areas of high property values. This location will not inure to the benefit of Peoria or local residents. An alternate location less likely to suppress property values and growth potential should be a priority.

There is plenty of land in undeveloped areas available for such a project--that way new residents and commercial ventures can make their buying decisions knowing your transfer station is there. It should not be foisted on a developed area after the fact.
