We are a concerned group of citizens who want our township to uphold the law. Our township motto is "Warrington Township, Gateway to Historic Bucks County". We have many new residential developments right now that have already been approved. However, we have one now that is in the rezoning hearing process. The proposed property is currently zoned RA (residential, agricultural) which as per the current law can have one home per three acres. The developer and applicant are asking for a rezoning change to RA 2. This would allow four to five homes per acre. The outcome of this hearing will most likely have a drastic effect on future developments. This could lead to high density development on rural lots throughout the entire township. This proposed change is definetly not consistent with the motto "Gateway to Historic Bucks County". This change will also have a long lasting financial burden on the township and its taxes to the residents. The ripple effect goes on and on from road improvements needed, the increase classroom sizes , larger fire and police forces, as well as water and sewer improvements. If you are also a concerned resident of Warrington Township and are against high density rezoning please sign this petition as it will be forwarded to the board of supervisors.

I honestly never thought this would gain this much steam but seeing all these people jump on board makes me feel like we have a real chance of keeping our town the way it actually is. It feels like the tide is finally turning against these developers who just want to pack everything in tight without thinking about the schools or our roads.

We moved to the Warrington side of Chalfont last year for the school district and open space and am starting to regret this decision after seeing all the recent housing developments, congestion, traffic, etc. Building is out of control and needs to stop before there is no open space left :(

The rezoning is too dense, will bring in more children, needing more schools, more taxes. But aside from that, monied contractors can change the rules setting a precedent that cannot be changed. Don't ruin things. Don't sell out to money.

This board should follow the advise of their Planning Commission and the Bucks County Planning Commission to not allow this zoning change AND to listen to the concerns of their residents.

This township has a good Comprehensive Plan. Our BOS needs to abide by the plan and keep the density as is. Increasing density will unbalance our township. We are already in debt, had to borrow from a trust to pay our bills. We cannot afford an increase in housing. Stop supporting the developers, they do not live here.

I would like to see the Geerling Property and any other property currently zoned as RA to remain RA. If any development is proposed, it should comply with the RA zoning designation.

Traffic on Street Road is getting worse with all the new developments presently. It is dangerous getting out of Harvard Drive and Elbow Lane. No more high density housing!!!
