Do you love your cask ale? Are you a fan of TV-wit and pint-pundit Danny Wallace? Then sign Nicholson’s pubs’ petition to get an experimental hop, used in the IPA which Danny helped formulate, named ‘Wallex’ in his honour.
To create Tom Ditto IPA, Danny worked in a unique collaboration with London’s Truman’s Brewery. Remarkably, one of the hops used is an experimental strain with no name. But you can help us change that.
When brewers order this variety in future we want them to be asking hop farmers for ‘Wallex’, the Danny Wallace hop. So sign our petition today. If it’s successful, you could be one of 10 lucky signers, drawn at random, to join Danny at a London Nicholson’s for a victory celebration.

I look forward to seeing "brewed using the finest of Wallex hops..." on a pump head soon
We certailly want Wallex but can we ask the brewers to use it to brew a beer to compete against the best beer in the world namely Duvel
this will make up for the time my Dad convinced me hops were living animals and I could have one as a pet.
You can't go wrong with experimental hops. Unless they mutate and destroy us all, but I'm sure it won't come to that.
Danny is my Leader, so of course I support this petition. But as an East End boy, I have to support Trumans too!

how can anything progress if it is prevented from getting past the experimental stage?
