The feedback I have received confirms that many of you face the same danger when navigating the overpass on your daily commute. I am currently preparing a formal request for local planning officials to review the safety standards for this crossing. Your shared experiences provide the necessary context to demonstrate why this infrastructure is a pressing need for our community.

Seeing this conversation expand beyond my own daily commute suggests that many of you recognize the same hazards I face each day. It is encouraging to see our neighbors agree that the infrastructure on road 68 needs to account for those of us who travel without a car. This collective recognition is the first step toward creating a safer path for everyone in our community.

I see people walking almost everytime I pass through there. And think hope no one gets hits
There should be a walkway connecting the residential areas south of the highway to the business areas north of the highway
Build that safe walk way.
