It would e most helpful for the Regulator to recognise the severe financial situation it’s members are in during the pandemic and allow a payment holiday for a short time.

These unprecedented times make it very difficult to maintain a practice. I hope that you appreciate our hardship.

It would be greatly appreciated.
During this time of uncertainty, it would really help keep everything a little bit more stable for us.
Kindest regards

My income has reduced to almost nothing and I’m a single mother with two children now unable to go to school.
Any help would be greatly appreciated please.

At present and for the foreseeable future I am unable to earn money as an osteopath and yet am expected to continue to pay fees for a profession I am unable to practice and earn a living in. I strongly feel that in these unprecedented times the GOsC should suspend registration fees.

I am not earning and not working as aren’t a lot of people. We still have to pay other bills and cost of living so a feeeze on this payment would be a great help in dire times.

I stopped working beginning of March and as long as necessary to prevent the risk of transmission by asymptomatic people due to their proximity 1 metre minimum and 15 min talk
Incubation time being between 4 to 27 days depending on the type/ form

Fees need to be suspended during the Pandemic, all patients have cancelled on the advise of the PM to stop all non essential contact. I have absolutely no income, I am self employed, single parent and supporting my child single handedly.

In these uncertain times the GOsC should try to limit the hardship osteopaths are going to face. When they produced their balance sheet a few years ago there was a large amount of cash in reserve. This is a good time to use it!

This is a time for reflection. For everyone. My suggestion to GOSC would be to spend some time praising the relatively high satisfaction rate / success of our profession - and promoting this - we should be busy once the storm has passed and maybe more do with your help - rather than the somewhat punitive approach which this unrelenting obsession with CPD seems to have become.

Given the unprecedented circumstances we find ourselves in this would be a really helpful position for GOsC to take to reduce some of the worry and stress members are under right now.

Osteopaths are incredible. Please help them in the interim with their fees to let them continue their practise when the time comes.
