We the undersigned, desire to impress upon the board our wish that Waitrose do cease all trading with and sale of all News International publications until such a time as the results of an independent enquiry into alleged criminal activity are published and Partners think it in the best interests of the Partnership that they return such publications to sale. We believe that to continue selling these publications is an endorsement of a company being investigated for a large number of incredibly distasteful actions and crimes of which no Partner or customer would wish to be considered supporting. If News International or any of its publications are found innocent of the charges against them we would happily return such goods to sale. However, until such evidence is received we wish to be disassociated from this organisation at the earliest opportunity.
