Hey my names Danny and I am sure you guys are fully aware that recently in the Aston Guild Elections I was disqualified in the running for VPFME. I was disqualified for Using language in a comedy based song in hustings in what steering classed as "Derogatory". The comment that was made by myself was .." dont be such gay" which was simply used to rhyme with a previous line. I am sure that you can agree that this comment wasn't intended for any harm or to offend anyone, as it not in my nature to offend any individual especially if i will be representing them at the guild. I am aware now that it may have caused offence and have apologized for my action HOWEVER I do not believe that i should have been disqualified for this after a long hard fought campaign where i recieved over 450 votes from students to be stated as Guild VPFME. Your Support is vital and would really appreciate it Many Thanks Danny

The amount of support I have seen these past few days is overwhelming and frankly exhausting to process. It is heavy work fighting this process but knowing people are behind me makes it impossible to walk away yet.

Ridiculous to kick him out over a rhyme. He got the most votes so he should be the one representing us. Let Danny back in.
