We, the undersigned, hereby express our concern about the imminent departure of Susan Lamb, Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs from the San Francisco Community College District (SFCCD). For the good of our students, our enrollment, our class offerings at every location, and for the greater good of the entire college community as we work to reach unsanctioned Accreditation status, it is essential that we keep Susan Lamb as our Most Valuable Player of the College Administration.
We urge the State Chancellor, Special Trustee, Board of Trustees and the SFCCD Chancellor to honor this petition and to do whatever it takes to:
1) affirm Susan Lamb’s value to this District and
2) keep her employed at SFCCD for many years to come.

Leadership needs to recognize that Susan Lamb provides the stability our district desperately requires during this accreditation process. Call the Board of Trustees today and demand they prioritize her retention. Tell your colleagues to sign this petition so the administration understands the depth of our unity.

The administration is finally taking notice of our unified demand to keep Susan Lamb. Email the Board of Trustees right now and tell them that losing our most effective leader is not an option for this district.

We need stability in the Instructional Office at this time. The position is key to ensuring stability and instructional planning. Exploring why the VC wants to leave and making changes that ensures she can stay would be in the best interest of the college.
I have experienced VC Susan Lamb leadership via the Faculty Position Allocation Committee. She chairs this committee with transperancy, fairness and open discussion using a data driven process.
Working with Susan for the last year and a half has been fantastic. She is an amazing person and a true leader. As we continue in our accreditation journey, I urge the BOT, Special Trustee, and Chancellor to recognize her worth to this college, and do what it takes to keep her here.
As part of the Office of Instruction, in addition to my position in the Astronomy Department, I can definitively say that Susan Lamb is the best addition to CCSF in many years. The college will be in such jeopardy if we lose her, that all measures to ensure her continuation must be taken!
VP Lamb is smart, capable, approachable and respectful. She attended the 2014 Asian Coalition Scholarship Dinner to show her support for students and Asian Coalition. Thank you and hope she will stay to continue the good relationships she has built with the CCSF community.

I appreciated that Susan Lamb took notice of NC certificates, their benefit for our working students. She made an effort on students' behalf that was long needed. If she'll stay we can continue to do more to teach and serve our students.
