VOTE NO FOR ENTRANCE EXAMS/ASSESSMENTS BY AA JUNIOR SCHOOL PUPILS INTO AA SENIOR SCHOOL
We the undersigned:
- voice our utmost disagreement in the American Academy Alumni Board’s Decision and/or proposal for Exams /Assessments of Junior School Children in order to be accepted into the American Academy Senior School.
- expect the Board to immediately revoke its decision and/or proposal and sends a letter addressed to the Junior School parents confirming that all children currently enrolled in the Nursery and the Junior School will transition into the American Academy Senior School without Exams/Assessments.

I have been reading through the messages from fellow parents about the anxiety these proposed exams are placing on our children. It is clear that we are all fighting for the same peaceful transition for our kids. My focus remains on getting the board to recognize that these students deserve better than additional pressure to prove their worth.

Seeing this level of support reminds me that I am not alone in fighting for my child's right to a stress-free transition. The momentum we have built shows the board that our community will not accept these unnecessary barriers for our students.

I must agree , I have 4 children in the school . To then say 1 from the 4 could not go through would be terrible, as this was the main questioned I asked when joining the academy . I think if they want to bring in “new” rules for something as serious as this is should be for “new” pupils . As they can be explained this from the start at make there choice at that point .
We were told there would be no exams... should we all remove our children if the education they are receiving is not to the correct standard?! I expect my child to be taught what is required for him to achieve!
We are paying for the highest level of education, if there is not - its not kids or parents fault! This is the fault of the system of education and management which has to be changed!
It is unacceptable and unethical on behalf of the American Academy to ask for entrance exams from children that were prepared by the Academy itself. You cannot abandon your own students that spent their first 6 years of education in your institution.
They are basically saying WE WANT YOUR MONEY BUT WILL KICK YOUR KIDS OUT. WHAT AN INSULT!!!
Although my son will be finishing junior school next year, i am signing this petition on behalf of my friends who have younger children at the AA junior school. It is my belief that parents are sending their children to the AA junior school with the expectation of them achieving the necessary requirements to enter the secondary school successfully. If the school is asking for entrance exams then that shows a low level of faith in the school itself.
Absolute nonsense!! I expect my child to progress to the SS without having to engage in lawyers.

It's a shame when the management of a school starts discrimination among its senior and junior students. If they are so much worried about their reputation then please enhance the education quality rather than playing these dirty politics.
