Believe this change needs further investigation as to the effects, pro and con, to entries.

This will only reduce numbers. Let’s just hand out titles to all.

Absolutely stupid. I only own 2 adult show dogs - both champion males. At the moment I can split them into inter/aust/open. This would mean they would both be in champion. I also have a 7 month old male puppy who is half way to his title - how is it fair that he would go into the same class as a 3 year old?! For me, I would probably retire and rehome the puppy.

The survey was flawed, voting NO means that, and this new class will kill dog shows completely off.
Who will enter 4-6 dogs, all champions, when they ALL have to go into a champion class?!
PLUS there was ZERO mention of Intermediate, Aust.Bred and Open classes being deleted!!
Who thinks THIS is a good idea, because all the comments I've seen, people are angry and will only be entering 1- 2 dogs instead of multiple classes.
For those of us who don't show a lot, what are WE supposed to do if our dogs aren't titled by the end of Junior? It is RIDICULOUS and causing a lot of angst amongst breeders and exhibitors.
This will NOT encourage new people.
The toxicity of some people is what drives people away. How about taking reports of bullying etc , seriously? That will help much more than alienating hundreds of exhibitors.
Extremely disappointed and weighing up our own commitments if this ridiculous class is brought in.

I do not support having a Champion class. Non titled dogs have beaten Ch/GrCh/SupCh before and it makes that win a little bit more sweeter. Dogs need to earn their stripes. What's the point of just going up against non champions? Remember all these titled dogs were once non titled dogs going up against titled dogs. As others have said, this will reduce entries not increase them.
