Emmanuel College has a wonderful reputation for excellence in the areas of academics and sports. For women, the varsity sport opportunities include soccer, basketball, tennis, and softball. There are many girls, however, whose athletic interests do not fall into those categories, but would like the opportunity to be involved on a sports team other than intramurals. This problem could be solved by Emmanuel College adding a new sport for women: volleyball. All that is needed is for enough girls who would play on a team to sign this petition and then find a head coach. Then the petition would be viewed and a volleyball team would be considered by the college. Many people enjoy this sport for intramural, but if you are more serious about the game and would love the opportunity to play it on a varsity level, please sign this petition! As soon as enough girls sign it, we will look for a head coach, and then submit the petition. Thank you!
