Volkswagen Tiguan Turbo Recall

Having exactly same problems as other described. Car has had one problem after another.

Have a 2013 with 68K miles and have the same problem.

I have 2015 tiguan with 75,000 mile and check engine light went on and turbo replacement is $2,500.

Have a 2014 Tijuan had turbo replaced in2016 and needs to be replaced again. 70,000km

2014 Tiguan with approx 35,000 miles. Turbo is being replaced now.

My 2014 Tiguan needs a new turbo after only approx 35,000 miles.

I bought a 2013 Tiguan and I’m having the same P0299 problem. And I only bought my car Oct/2019 with 61,000 miles.

2012 Tiguan. Turbo out after 100,000 miles

Same issue! Turbo has been replaced at 50k miles, and failed again at 60k!!! Very disheartening!

2011 Tiguan 47k miles. Confirmed with VW dealer that it needs a new turbo.

Turbo failed on my 2013 tiguan.

We received the P0299 error code on our 2011 Tiquan a year ago with 65000 miles

Bought a 2010 Tiguan. Got a 2099 error and a 2015 error. Turbo and manifold. I have replace the recycling value on the turbo, both hoses, the manifold, had the injectors cleaned, o rings done, plates cleaned. And I still have the 2099 code. Was told by the dealership that I was 2ontha outside of warranty. 115k roughly in miles. Really VW. Loved this car. Now I have nothing good to say about vw.

2012 Tiguan with 80000 Miles Turbo going out. 2,250 repair bill.

2013 Tiguan. Turbo failed at about 65,000.

Turbo charger replaced with 23,500 miles 2016 Tiguan. Still under warranty. Thankfully.
