Please add me to the petition as my 2012 Tiguan also has low mileage and engine light with code indicating turbo charge problem.

2016 VW Tijuan, my turbo charger went out and the repair cost is $3100. Awaiting to see if Carshield will pay for the repair cist, this is unbeliveable that there is no recall on this. Will call the newa media t look into this matter.

P0299 showing for a second time on a 2017 Tiguan. Already had the turbo replaced at 28,000, now it is going again at 60,000. Volkswagen needs to make this right!

Same issue happened with, My 2016 Tiguan R- Line has only 55,000 miles (92,000KM) and was diagnosed with turbo charger failure. The mechanics at the Volkswagen Dealer in UAE (Alnabooda) told me the cost of the part only around 2,500, in addition to labor charges to replace it with a new one. My warranty (5 Years) was expired just a month ago before this issue, it happened with me also in my previous VW car Passat 2008, it has same issue but at 120,000 Miles, I’m totally disappointed with VW, they should take an action, call cars or share the cost of such major defect when happened in particular in low mileage cars, all should share their experience in this for VW to take an action.

Same issue here. My 2014 Tiguan has only 50,000 miles and was diagnosed with turbo charger failure. The mechanics at the volkswagen 4S store told me it would take me $3,000 to replace it with a new one. My warranty was expired and I am very unhappy with this issue.
