Final supporters
So here are some facts:
a. 6 out of the top 10 most dangerous countries in the world (By homicide per capita) have visa free access to the Schengen area(Europe)?.
b. 60% (soon to be 73%) of South American countries have visa free access to the Schengen states, compared to the 0% of continental African countries.
c. Out of 36 of the top countries where the most asylum seekers come from, 8 of those countries have visa free access to the Schengen area?
South Africa doesn’t even feature on this list meaning very few (If any) of our citizens go seek asylum in Europe or other countries.
d. Colombia, which is a country comparable to South Africa, with a similar population, similar GDP, and even Similar homicide rate per capita will very soon gain visa free access to the Schengen area.
Visa free travel has very little to do with crime, and everything to do with sharing of information.
South Africans are left to fend for themselves, seeing as our government can't or don't want to work for the people, and start negotiating with foreign countries for visa free travel, we the people will raise our voice, we demand to be heard.

Is it just me or is this actually happening faster than I thought it would? I keep refreshing the page waiting to see the number hit two hundred and fifty but we are just barely short and honestly I need someone to grab their phone and send the link to a few people right now so we can stop hovering in this limbo.

I travel abroad regularly and the time and money it takes to get my visas is ludicrous. I live in Limpopo, a four hour drive from any of the embassies. Please make South Africans visa free in the Schengen area.
Stop the middlemen squeezing the average person who cannot afford to apply three or four times because the VSF offices act like they have no idea why x,y,z wasn't requested in the first place but unfortunately you now have to reapply from scratch!
My sons live in London and Frankfurt. We had visa free access to the UK - but never to Europe. This is actually quite surprising if Out of 36 of the top countries where the most asylum seekers come from, 8 of those countries have visa free access to the Schengen area
Use to visit France and Europe every year but the inconvenience of travelling to Cape Town to get Visa every time became to much trouble.Prefer to travel to the East lately - quick and easy.
seeing the heartsore of not being able visit family readily when ill or the anxiety linked to preparing for what should be fun holiday is frightful. A visa may be needed but why not a simple visa you can obtain at border entry or online?
goverment must work for the people or its invalid !

I am not a criminal, have done plenty of travelling and don't understand why every time I do travel I get treated like a criminal because of a few criminals out there. systems should pick up that I am not a criminal and should be able to travel freely
