We call on the President and the Cabinet to take urgent action to protect South Africans from crime, drugs, trafficking, and other harm linked in many communities to foreign criminal networks, including Nigerians. People are tired of seeing their youth drawn into drugs and dying every day, and of living with fear in their own homes and neighbourhoods. Our sisters and children must be safe from exploitation, kidnapping, and being forced into prostitution or sold across borders. That is not the country we want, and it is not the freedom we fought for.
We are asking for firm steps now: stronger border control, stricter checks on permits, closer action against drug dealing in public spaces, and the removal of anyone found to be breaking the law. Those who come here to harm our people should not be allowed to stay, and those who are here unlawfully should have their permits revoked and be removed. We also ask that the government review the presence and status of the Nigerian Ambassador and act in the best interests of South Africans.
Our communities want dignity, safety, and peace. We cannot keep living in fear while criminal activity spreads and our children are lost to it. We have shown humanity, but that must not be used to turn our country into a place of chaos. Mr President, hear the voice of the black child crying to be freed from this suffering. Act now for the benefit of the people of South Africa before the situation gets worse.
