This is a great first step to create smaller neighborhood dog parks. These are simple spaces defined by sturdy fences and a dog waste station. I like the idea of meeting up with my neighbors and their pups in a safe spot

Yes! With so many dog owners in the area, and living in an urban apartment environment, we really need more places to run them around off the leash!

This would be a great use of what is now largely unused space. It's a terrific idea. And it can and should be kept simple - no need for gravel or sand or expensive concrete walls. Just a fence and a trash can for pet waste would do.

Ballston, resident who drives to East Falls Church or Clarendon for a dog park. Please, no water features.

We need a fenced park for dogs, even if it's small.

A fenced dog park would be nice, indeed (it doesn't have to be large).

Yes! This is a major issue that is making me re-consider living in Ballston when other areas have dog parks!
