A lot more apartments are allowing dogs and we need more space for them.

Please enclose some space at Quincy Park. My office overlooks the park and it appears the softball field has very limited use although animal control is now chasing dogs and their owners away. From my perspective, the Clarendon park is not safe - owners seem to pay little attention to their pets, are typically on their phones and sometimes drop their dogs and then disappear. Aggressive dogs are allowed to attack other dogs. I’ve called animal control and was told that little could be done when my dog was attacked. Please allocate well-designed dog space, monitor it appropriately and ensure it functions properly (reference the fountain in the Clarendon park).

Quincy Park needs space for dogs!

Dogs need to run around and don’t always have places to do so at their homes. Please allow for off-leash space At Quincy Park!

Arlington is behind in providing dog parks for number of residents with dogs. Parks/rec needs to be get more funding. This is an issue in Clarendon too

Clarendon is too far a walk from Ballston, especially in warm weather. The many dogs living in apartments and condos in Ballston/VA Square need an enclosed area for exercise and socialization. An ideal dog park would have a separate section for small and special needs dogs.
