We, “The Phoenixites”, Concerned Current and Former citizens of The Village of Phoenix, Illinois, hereby stand firmly together Petitioning School District 151, of South Holland, Illinois to Relinquish All Rights, Annex and Donate The Parcel of Land Located in Phoenix, Illinois at 155th & Van Drunen Road @ 9th Avenue, to The Village of Phoenix, Illinois, for the purpose of building a Park and Recreation Center, beneficial for the citizens of Phoenix, Illinois. The Village of Phoenix, Illinois has utilized, maintained, and cared for this parcel of land for more than 50 years and it should be annexed to The Village of Phoenix, for The Good of the People and Amelioration of The Community.
“One Does Not Sell the Earth upon Which the People Walk and Whom Will Turn That Piece of Land into a Public Park For The Benefit Of the People.”

it has always been ours. time to make it official.
so tired of them holding onto property they dont even use. turn it into a park.
PHOENIX DESERVES BETTER. GIVE US OUR LAND BACK.
we need this place for the kids asap. quit sitting on the land and give it back to us.
been waiting on this for years. just do the right thing and hand it over already.
