The County Council finally came to their senses and approved our building plans. These bureaucrats tried to block our community work for way too long but we forced them to back down. We stay ready to hold them accountable if they ever try to stand in our way again.

For the past 17 years The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Victory Temple , Bowie, MD, a Family Community Church has served the Bowie Community diligently by:
- Providing Christian based Spiritual Guidance
- Laying Solid foundation for good marriages and family units
- Raising Godly and well grounded children who are doing very well in great schools across the country
- Sponsoring our local Police and Fire Department
- Supporting our local homeless community
- Providing Free medical clinic for the uninsured in the community
- Sponsoring Annual Thanksgiving and Christmas parties for the less privileged, et all
Victory Temple wants to develop its land down the road (5 minutes drive) from its present location at the intersection of Mount Oak and Church road in Woodmore so it can continue to serve the community as it has done for so long.

The County Council Public Hearing on this matter will take place on April 16th at 2:00pm at the County Administration Building located at 14741 Governor Oden Drive in Upper Marlboro, Maryland 20772.

As a correctional officer, i have found that faith and faith based mission help in rehabilitation and reentry. This in our enviroment will help encourage the hearts of people, decrease the depressive state in current situations
Since I moved to this church has been one of the best things that has happened to me in a great way. They help the homeless by feeding feed them, given them shelters, and so more so if they move to you community they will also impact in the communities in a great way. Thanks and God bless
I see the place of worship as a blessing to the community . I do not agree that there will be traffic congestion because there are police men already there on sundays who control the traffic in the present location .
I live in Bowie, off of Church Road. I’m in support of this church building. I’ve been attending Victory Temple Bowie for over 20 years. This church has been a solid support for me, my family and other members.
I am a member of RCCG Bictory Temple and I can confidently say that this is a church that cares about the community. From firefighters to police officers to free medical help and fairs. This new church site will be a wonderful addition to the community!
I am in support of the new project.

The site will be a very good location for the church because the church will make the area more peaceful, easily accessible and it will also increase the values of properties in that area.
