The administration has acknowledged the volume of interest regarding the academic calendar. I am currently finalizing a formal proposal to present to the committee members during their next scheduled session.

USD needs to get with the program. Veterans deserve the recognition and one day off isnt asking for much.
My dad served in the marines and this is just common respect. Every other school does it why not us?
Total joke that we ignore this. Honor those who served.
about time. pay some respect.
Makes no sense to have class. Most of us have family members who are veterans and want to spend time with them.

IT IS A NATIONAL HOLIDAY. We shouldnt be sitting in a lecture hall while others are being honored.
