To Vermont Legislators and Governor Shumlin,

We, the undersigned Vermonters believe that all electric generating facilities, whether considered from a renewable source or not, must meet all Act 250 requirements.  We believe that the Public Service Board must review each proposed facility and apply Act 250 requirements without being allowed to waive them for their version of "the public good."  Electric generating facilities should meet the same land use standards - through Act 250 criteria - as every other building project in Vermont that must go before the District Environmental Commission.  It is time to level the playing field and protect Vermont's environment.  We urge you to support this effort.

Enough with these solar fields eating up our beautiful hills. Keep the rules the same for everyone instead of letting the big companies do whatever they want in our backyards.
