I just looked at the screen and saw we crossed the one hundred mark which is just incredible because I honestly did not think this would gain momentum so fast. It is bittersweet looking at the names and knowing why we are all here but the support really helps me breathe a bit easier today.

I really never pictured so many people finding their way here to honor Verlaine and her memory. My hands are actually shaking a bit seeing how much this has grown because it feels like people truly understand how dangerous that intersection is now.

I was looking at the list of signatures and noticed we are just a few away from hitting that first hundred mark which might finally get the city to actually look at our demands. Can you please send this link to a few people you know because I keep thinking about how things might have been different if that light was already there for Verlaine and I just really need this to move faster right now.

Its just way to busy for there not to be a real light. Stop waiting for another accident to happen.
So tragic. My heart goes out to the family. Nobody should have to lose a child like this.

Lived in this area for 10 years and almost got hit twice. Action is way overdue.
FIX THIS NOW!!! How many more people have to die before the city actually does something???

That intersection is a death trap. I drive through there all the time and nobody ever slows down. Put the lights in already.
