There are plans for the Caerphilly forestry commission to flatten these awesome trails. They're located near a town called Caerphilly in South Wales and were created by Jason Carpenter of Dragon DH. It is believed the site was approved by the forestry commission around 3-4 years ago. Van road trails, or Goldtecs / Jason's trails as some of you may know them as, is a place for all levels of rider to jump and to generally have a good time. The jumps are a very good alternative to most of the skate parks in the Cardiff and Caerphilly area (some of which are in very poor condition) and are a safe, friendly place to get away and to simply have fun. Closing such a well known place down will surely have a negative impact on the local area and council alike since many people enjoy using the area The problems for the council and forestry commission is that they have no information on user numbers, which of course makes it hard for them to justify as investment of public funds. Which is where this petition comes in. So please can you help us save these trails. Check out http://www.welshsidebmx.co.uk/home/comments.phpid=191#comments for more information.
