Recently, West Milford Engineering/DPW began construction on a drainage project on Vanorden Road. If you are familiar with Vanorden Road, undoubtedly you will have enjoyed the majestic column of Norway Red Maples. As part as their project a decision was made to remove many of these beautiful trees after protest by local residents a temporary hold was put on the removal of any additional trees. The town council will be deciding the fate of the remaining Maple trees.
