To Mayor Arnold and City Commissioners: We, the Undersigned do hereby petition that the Record of Decision lawsuit levied against the United States Air Force be immediately dropped and dismissed without prejudice. By proceeding with this action, the City of Valparaiso threatens to halt construction and progress of the Joint Strike Fighter program and thereby threatening thousands of families, hundreds of small businesses and millions of dollars in economic aid and developement for the Northwest Florida community. We, the Undersigned residents of Valparaiso, stand steadfastly opposed to the Mayor's actions. We demand that our city government reflect the will of its people and adhere to what is right and fair for the entire Northwest Florida community by dropping this lawsuit immediately.
