The scale of this response confirms that our concerns regarding the Hovey project tax status are widely shared by the community. I am currently preparing the formal arguments to be presented during the public comment portion of the next City Commission meeting.

We already have enough empty buildings in this town. Why give these guys a tax break when they arent bringing any new jobs to Ironwood? Vote no.
Bad for downtown and bad for our budget. Ironwood needs tax dollars not more apartment projects that dont help the local economy.

Tired of tax breaks for developers while the rest of us pay for everything. Stop the hovey project.
