As of 18 September 2021, the faculty of Westminster College in New Wilmington, PA passed a resolution to mandate Covid-19 vaccines for all students, faculty and staff. This resolution will be voted on by the College's Board of Trustees on an undisclosed date. If passed, this mandate will require students to be forced into a getting the vaccine mid-semester or drop out. The resolution also states that no religious exemptions will be accepted. Westminster College states they are all about 'Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion,' yet with this resolution they will be discriminating against over 300 students and not allowing them to receive an education. LOOK at the facts. Look at FDA hearings on 9/17/21. Will you be financially responsible for any health issues for the rest of my daughters life ??? If your answer is “No” the you cannot mandate an experimental drug.
Others do not have the right to choose what goes in my child's body! This is HER choice, not your choice! This mandate goes against what Westminster stands for!
Since August 6th, 13 covid cases have been identified on campus. With 1 or 2 cases a week, there has not been an outbreak and there hardly seems a reason to mandate the vaccine.
Vaccine mandates are wholly unconstitutional, and it is unconscionable that a Presbyterian private college would even entertain such a mandate without a religious exemption at the very least. I urge the Board of Trustees to vote against this mandate.
Please do not do this. Our son says he will 100% transfer if this happens. He had COVID, he has the antibodies and there are dangers for him potentially if he were to get the vaccine.
The covid vaccines have been linked to blood clots, heart defects, infertility, cancer rates 20 times higher than individuals who didn't receive the jab and liver failure. This is outrageous Westminster college is supposed to be a Christian college. Westminster should be held liable for all the side affects students receive from the jab!
If my child is required to have a vaccine, then the school should be required to sign a document accepting full responsibility for any/all health issues from that day forward. Happy to have my lawyer draw it up.

It is despicable that a “Christian” institution will not permit religious exemptions and is telling of the direction the College is heading. Denying the First Amendment rights of students and faculty is unacceptable in a “free” society. If this policy passes, it will be the death knell for the school since many donations will cease.
