I honestly cannot believe how many people are seeing this now because it feels like just yesterday I was sitting at my kitchen table feeling completely ignored by everyone. It is such a strange feeling to see people finally validating what I have known for years (that we are just as vital as anyone else) and I am honestly just feeling a bit overwhelmed by all this sudden attention.

Facts. The government treats carers like we are invisible. Saving them millions while we struggle to pay bills.
Its about time we get some recognition. My mum has been doing this 24/7 for my brother and she gets next to nothing. This needs to change now.
Im exhausted. caring for my husband is a full time job i dont have a life anymore just trying to get by week after week. please help us.
CARERS NEED A LIVING WAGE! we do the work the state refuses to do but get paid pennies.
Keep at it. People dont realize how much work this is until they have to do it themselves.

My wife looks after our daughter and its heartbreaking watching her stress about money when she gives everything to keep our girl healthy.
