URGENT! NJ Business Owners The Sweeney Bill (S4204) Must Be Stopped!

This Bill is INSANE!!!

Simply put this puts us out of business. Please send me an email that I can send to the 10 families I employ that sorry you are no longer employed and we are out of business. We are over taxed and over regulated, this why I want to leave the state and will change all Democratic votes to Republican.

I am an Uber/Lyft driver. I supply my own car, gas, and insurance. I am not their employee!

PLEASE DO NOT PASS THIS BILL.

Will put small studios out of business.

Absolutely needs to be stopped!

This all-encompassing bill will negatively impact small businesses significantly.

This bill is overkill with many potential unintended consequences.

This must be stopped as it will directly impact small business and non profits.

Please do not pass Bill 4204 and if modified please exclude small business owners and non profits as they are already hit hard. This is a mistake and should be dropped.

Please consider stopping this bill. I am a 1099 independent contractor as a yoga instructor. This allows me to make my schedule and stay home with my kids. In addition, if studio owners had to employ all of their teachers, most of the small business studios would be forced to let most of their teachers go, or close down. This would force the industry to move most teachers to large corporations/gyms, decreasing the quality and quantity of a service that gives so much to the students/clients we share this practice with.

Please do not pass this bill!

I oppose S4202 this hugely impacts Small business owners and independent contractors whom by the way are many women and yes we vote!

Passing this bill is a huge mistake for collecting taxes by the State of NJ. If I am an independent contractor living in NJ, companies will no longer hire me and will hire independent contractors from other states instead. Most independent contractors will move out of this state to stay alive and put meat on their table. Along with them moving, their taxes will move with them and NJ will get nothing! All the other states that independent contractors move to will increase their tax base. NICE MOVE SWEENEY! BRILLIANT LEADERSHIP!!!!

I oppose S4202. Please stop what you started Senator Sweeney. MANY will leave the state!!!!!!!!!!! I pay my taxes - for wages earned and I own two properties in this state. I will not become an employee and lose the business I built.
