The current Augusta Skatepark is poorly located, tired, run down and dirty. The park was built over twenty years ago and is well overdue to be redesigned and upgraded.
Please help show the Shire the Augusta Skatepark needs urgent attention.

I have submitted a formal request for a site inspection with the Shire engineering department to address the structural decay at the park. Local contractors are currently reviewing the site plans to provide a baseline estimate for the required surface repairs. Expect an update on their feedback once the initial assessment is finished.

It’s important for country towns to provide healthy and accessible activities for young and particularly teenage children. It keeps them out of trouble. An upgraded skate park would not only benefit the locals but our large influx of tourists.
Yes please!! I’m there on a regular basis with my 4 kids but it only caters to older kids. My little one try to use it too and have almost been cleaned up by older ones too many times. It’s actually dangerous!
This is an important part of the town. Along with childcare, we need facilities to be kept upgraded to keep families in the town. I don’t have children myself, yet see the benefits of the skate park the local children look after the area and don’t cause issues at the location.
This is well overdue. Its been like this since my sons were young. Margaret Rivers Park has been upgraded several times and not one dollar has been spent in Augusta for our children and children who come for holidays.
Big change needed for the kids of Augusta. The current park is hid from view and anyone who was to get injured would never be seen. Longtime coming for the young kids.

My son and his mates use it daily ,, It’s so run down and in a position that is unsafe and a really needs attention There is nothing in this town for these kids ,, With boys , they need to get energy out They all meet after school I’m talking high school boys ,, I’m strong on getting an upgrade and will support it to happen
