The Luckey Ranch housing community has an elementary school, which is in Medina Valley ISD. Part of the neighborhood is in a farther away and inferior district, Southwest ISD. The boundary map for these districts needs to be updated so that everyone in the Luckey Ranch neighborhood is in the same school district.
Southwest ISD thinks they can keep ignoring our neighborhood while our kids get stuck in inferior classrooms. We are currently pushing for a formal meeting with the board to force them to address this segregation of our community.

The momentum behind this fight proves that parents in Luckey Ranch are done settling for broken district maps. Southwest ISD needs to listen because this community is no longer staying silent about the inferior education they are forcing on our children.

Everyone in the Luckey Ranch neighborhood should be able to attend the school built within our community. Doesn't make sense nor is fair that my child can't attend school that is literally a minute away from our home.

All Lucky Ranch children should have the opportunity to attend our neighborhood Elementary School!
Our LGI sales Rep. convinced us to purchase here because they showed us that Medina ISD was better than many NSID schools.
