The silence from the administration is weighing on me but it just proves why we need to keep pushing for our safety. I am collecting the stories you have sent me and preparing to present them directly to the people who continue to ignore us.

Reaching this level of support shows that we are all feeling the same weight of constant worry on campus. It has been an exhausting road so far but seeing this momentum keeps me moving toward the administration.

Something needs to be done to ensure the safety of women and children in South Africa! We are living in fear!
Our women deserve to be treated better,with care and respect... But now we're at the point where they no longer feel safe and respected at all. #lets protect our women
Be a real man, not a passive boy. Don't stand by when women are being abused. Be a protector.
Female students are now afraid to even attend classes because they fear for their safety.
God save your lost children of this continent, this earth even. Peace be within your people

its so scary walking to the library at night. we need something to defend ourselves with because campus just isnt safe anymore.
