i think locking the bathrooms is stupid. it doesn’t stop anything it’s unnecessary im tired of going all the way to the 2nd floor when i need to pee. and then teachers get mad when we take too long

Being a female and getting monthly periods is VERY uncomfortable REGULARLY never mind having to wait and go ALL the way down too 2nd or 1st floor just to sit in a huge line in a smelly bathroom. KEEP THE DOORS UNLOCKED.

The right to access a bathroom is a basic human need. There must be more access to the bathrooms in a school with over 2,000 students. I'm absolutely sick and tired of my daughter coming home from school telling me she couldn't go to the bathroom when she needed. It gravely affects her day of learning. High school and teen years are stressful enough than to have to worry about making it through the day without going or being on your period, or taking more time than allowed out of class to make it to the one bathroom that is open (and when she has there is an overload of students in there and she is too worried because it would take too long). I couldn't possibly fathom not being able to use the restroom when needed while I am at work. This is a violation of the student's rights. Rather than punishing ALL the children who need to go, punish those who abuse it.

As a female with a period it’s not fun bleeding through you’re pants , so when there’s an emergency I shouldn’t have to walk to the first floor

I'm sick and tired of running to the only bathroom that's unlocked when I really gotta pee and its packed in there. We have multiple bathrooms for a damn reason, cause one bathroom is not for 2,000 students.

If any student gets a urinary tract infection from holding their urine that’s a law suit.

To fix the bathrooms. They’d rather lock them than fix them. 90% of the stalls between each gender don’t work. I took the data. The least they could do is leave the bathrooms unlocked .
