A single International student pays a fee amount between €12000 and €23000 per year across the varied courses in Ireland. In addition to their fees and general living expenses, they pay €300 for IRP card every year. They also have to miss a study to go to the immigration office to register and then also to collect the IRP card. So, our petition to the government is:
*Counters for IRP card registration at universities and colleges in Ireland when the new term begins.
*Reduce the Immigration fees to €150 for international students.

The IRP cost have to be cut down It is unfair how much the Irish government is overcharging the international fees and IRP and multi entry visas. This is not justice to the international community.
Please reduce the IRP fees to €150 as it would turn to be nominal fee. There are a lot of international students who are investing a hefty part in their tuition fee and living costs of around €15000 to €23000 per year. This will help them stabilise the situation. I support this initiative by UCC Indian Alumni Society.
Arranging counters at the college campus would be really helpful to save time and cost to travel. It would be appreciated if Irish government would consider this petition.
Most of the international students take education loan to support their living expenses in Ireland or any other country. With all that, immigration fee of €300 digs a big hole in their pockets. It should be reduced.
Immigration fees should be reduced to 150 euros for international students as the cost of living has increased substantially here.

This is really useless when country like USA giving visa for 5 years I still don't understand why Ireland can't.
