Please sign this petition if you wish to see our children and teachers wear masks at St. Joan of Arc School in Toledo, Ohio. Covid 19 cases are rising in Lucas County schools and we need to prevent further spread and illnesses in our vulnerable population who are not vaccinated at this time (our kids). Instead of reacting to this virus, let's do what works. Implement a mask mandate at school so that our kids may continue to attend school in person.

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends masks in all children over the age of 2. We did it last year at SJA, what is different now?? Toledo Public Schools, Springfield public schools have all issued a mask mandate. 8 Catholic schools in Toledo are following suit despite what the Diocese is recommending. Let's listen to the health professionals and pediatricians in our community.
