Dion Dalby shaved his head to raise money for cancer research. His school has punished him with 2 weeks in isolation. He has done something for a good cause and now his education is suffering and he doesn't get to raise the money for a deserving charity. Does he deserve this? I don't think so.

The school administration remains silent despite the clear injustice of this isolation sentence. Call the principal today to demand that they end this punishment and let Dion return to his classes.

This is an outrageous punishment for a fundraising effort. I've just read the spring issue of the school's magazine blowing it's fundraising trumpet on a double page spread! Why would a school trash the efforts of one young lad for any other reason than personal?

People are always quick to criticise teenagers for one thing or another yet when someone does a fantastic thing.like this for charity he is punished. What would happen if a teenager had gone thru chemo and lost their hair, would they too be isolated?????

Let's be fair, shaving his hair isn't going to affect how he learns in anyway, that's what schools for isn't it 'learning' not being punished for the way you look! Especially when it's for cancer research!!

Very proud of my nephew for shaving his hair off to raise money for such a worthy cause. Shame on the school... Small minded indeed. More efforts need putting into education not disciplining a child who has done something very kind. Utterly disgraceful. Well done Dion. You're a little star xxx

For cancer or not for cancer, it's a students right to wear their how they like, Your appearance is a way to express your character, Especially when he is doing it for cancer research, I know school need to maintain a decent 'school image' but Isn't doing something like Dion has done improving school image?
