This Petition is for a Federal law to be past that every County in the USA must have a Missing Person unit attached to the Sheriffs Department so that Cold Cases will be Eradicated.
Furthermore Qualified Volunteers should be allowed to work with law-enforcement to help find the missing!
The petition reached 250 signatures today. I am currently finalizing a formal proposal packet to deliver to the regional sheriff association to outline the requirement for dedicated missing person units.

We are approaching the 250 signature threshold which serves as the minimum requirement for our official submission to the Department of Justice. Please ensure you have forwarded the petition link to your local representatives to increase pressure before we initiate the formal review process.

My brother, Chip Campbell has been missing since March 2016 from Milton, Fl. Please help find the missing. It seems like the cases get set to the side due to new cases coming in the sheriff's department. An alarming statistic: every 40 seconds someone disappears.

My son has been missing 39 months and 10 days. Please help the families of the missing. We need to be allowed to have any search team we prefer and law enforcement to work with them.

My sister has been missing for 17 years. Not having a missing person unit in the Escambia County Sherriffs Office has impacted her case. This needs to be changed.

Every missing person file should be accessible in any state to the law force. That way the ran away teens or kidnaped victims are not limited to the police in their state knowing that they are missing. Everyone should sign this.

Monique Daniels, my only sister, has been missing for 26 years. I miss her everyday and feel something should be done. The police have a pretty good idea of who they just can't spend any money on her case because they would have to travel to do so. It breaks my heart. Please change this. Please help me find my sweet sister.

I have a missing daughter. I agree with this petition. More needs to be done for our missing people and their families. And even if they did run away many of them become victims of Human Trafficking. Police write them off so pimps can do what they want with these kids. It has to stop.
