I really thought this might just float around in the void for a while but seeing all these names pop up on the screen is genuinely dizzying. It is wild to think that this music actually means as much to you all as it does to me since I honestly just wanted to prove that physical discs still have a home in our collections.

I run the Powderworkers page and we have 3200 die hard Oils fans who also love the stuff the parts do as much as the sum of those parts. 1000 people on our page would likely buy the CD
Update on the petition for a physical release of Jim Moginie’s EP ‘Under the Motherland’s Flag’. There was a fantastic response to the petition. Unfortunately, the timing has not been great with the Oils going on tour, and there wasn’t enough time to organise a potential release. Thanks to all of your signatures there will be a Kickstarter campaign later in the year to take definitive orders for ‘Under the Motherland’s Flag’. Thanks once again for your support of the petition and for supporting great Oz music.

I will happily buy it if it is a physical copy, maybe I'm being a little ridiculous, but I prefer a physical copy of Cd's, etc. I have a copy of nearly everything Jim has been associated with, be it the Oils or his various side projects. This isn't something that I'm willing to do with 'most' artists, but Jim and the rest of the Oils I am, simply because I respect their music and what they stand for.
