UMGC Asia students' interest to pursue master's degrees in psychology and social work
Final supporters
UMGC is great at offering several different degree programs for students stationed overseas with the US Military.
However, while a bachelor's in psychology is offered though UMGC Asia, no master's degree program is currently available. There is also no bachelor's or master's degree program for social work.
The goal we wish to achieve with this petition, is that genuine interest can be relayed to those in charge. If there are enough people interested in pursuing either or both of these degrees while stationed in Asia, our hope is that changed can be made to offer them to students.

There is an ongoing effort on base by prospective social work students on base to try to complete their masters degrees. in addition, Yokota is located near other military bases by which individuals can take advantage of these programs.
Currently have my BSW and would love to continue my education in social work while overseas
I respectfully request that UMGC consider offering a Master’s in Social Work degree to provide students with greater access to advanced education and career opportunities in this vital field.
As a UMUC psychology undergrad graduate. I would love if they offered a masters program
I am currently in a BSW program exclusivly all online. I would love to see it come here for other options and for where im ready for my MSW.
We need a masters psychology program please!
I absolutely couldn’t have finished a masters degree for the two years I was in Japan! This would have been HUGE for me to further my education and career possibilities!! Pretty upset this wasn’t an option.
