Hope this does some good as this is very serious and can't remember if I have already done this.today I feel free of anger and frustration and realize that my mind and body is very fragile and am powerless regarding this matter and the NHS to some degree

This petition asks far too much for reality, - and thus damages it's own chances of impact - but I fully support the key point that "the government acts now to increase public awareness of this tick-borne infection."

24 year old daughter with Chronic Lyme. Years lost because of this disease. Thousands of pounds for treatment as no help from NHS. Better testing and treatment needed in the UK asap!

With better awareness, testing and treatment in the UK, I would not have lost 4 years of my life to this disease, nor would it have cost my family thousands of pounds to access treatment abroad.

My daughter is suffering already 5 years. We go from doctor to doctor. She does not have the strength to learn. There is no understanding and no help, The tests are very unreliable. It's time for a changes!

After 4 years of decline, the last year being unable to work, our granddaughter aged 24 has at last a diagnosis of Lyme by a German doctor who has been seen in Maastricht .
