I had 5 years before any one took me seriously.finally got a test which was positive only to be told by NHS I didnt have it!!!! Seriously???? Obviously no funding means no treatment.Wake up government and start smelling the LYMES.

My Sister has Lyme and has found it really difficult getting is diagnosed and treated. Did all the research herself, Doctors of no help at all.

This disease is very misunderstood, very in denial but VERY REAL AND IT IS GROWING. The NHS and UK medical authorities can only ignore this for so long but sweeping it under the carpet doesn't make it go away. This needs to be recognised before it's too late!

My daughter had the bullseye rash plain as day. GP didn't have a clue. She was ill for years and had to get private treatment.

This disease remains unknown, misdiagnosed and lacking in compassion. In a time when cancer is being beaten, a bacterial infection is still leaving so many left to suffer

Bitten in August 2012 been unwell since. Doctor at Infectious Diseases ridiculed me and refused to help. I used to be very active now any small exertion is exhausting. Have to jump through hoops just to get apt with GP.

It is shocking to hear of people suffering and not being helped or heard. Research, funding, treatment, being listened to, could save lives!
