This is a very real and dangerous disease, which seems to be swept under the table. There needs to be leaflets and warnings in the national parks, at the moment, there is very little, or it is available, 'under the counter' if you ask for information. I know people with Lyme's disease, and it is awful. Publicise the risks and preventative measures we can take to prevent this disease please.

There needs to be far more awareness generated about Lyme disease, and far improved treatment on offer and available,

This affects someone I know and the process of getting drugs and treatment is too long winded and costly!

I have had ME/Lyme disease for 26yrs and am appalled at the way I and millions more over the world have been treated. Why are we ignored and told we are 'just imagining we are ill? it is because contaminated vaccinations and biowarfare germs are making us ill.

Why is this horrible multi faceted disease still not understood by professionals ? why aren't medics trained as young doctors to distinguish Lyme disease as they are in all other aspects of medicine and treatments surely this is not too much to ask instead of shutting the illness away and put it under the 'blanket' of metal illness would something be done if the Minister of Health was suffering Lyme disease or would they be classed as a 'Mental problem'?

It is so difficult to be taken seriously and to get the right treatment quickly. More awareness and understanding is needed from our UK general practitioners
