I am currently drowning in emails from students who are just as frustrated as I am about how little we actually learn in school. It feels like we are all shouting into the void while the department just stares blankly so I am trying to figure out a way to get someone to actually listen to what we need.

kids leave school today with no clue about basic life skills. sort it out government.
yes pls. the amount of stuff i needed to know that they didnt bother teaching us is crazy
Honestly schools teach us nothing about bills or taxes. I had to learn everything the hard way once I turned 18. This is long overdue.
Agree 100%. Schools have been stuck in the past for way too long.
ABOUT TIME. How are we expected to function in the real world when we dont even know how a mortgage works or how to vote???

Need this so bad. Everyone deserves to know their rights and how to handle money before being thrown into the world.
